In the past when very few females were getting proper education. But today females are going to school everywhere and even getting higher education. It is necessary to get education to every man and woman. Without education there is all bleak in every walk of their life. The nation always developed when their people get proper education and help to develop their country. The history of progress of the human race is the history of education. Hence it is necessary for every person man or woman to be educated. The hand that rocks the cradles rules the world. Women should get education like men; otherwise there will be no peace or no progress. Napolean Bonaparte was once asked what the greatest need of France was, He answered, “Motherland’s national progress is impossible without trained and education to mothers”.
A woman has to play three distinct parts in the course of her life in each of which certain duties are expected of here. If she is able to do these well, she is worthy of being called perfect woman. It is only by the help of education that she can hope to be able to do them satisfactorily. The first duty of a woman is to be a good daughter, the second is to be good wife and the third is to be a good mother. Education teaches a woman what she should be. It also teaches her how she should do it to be a good daughter, a good wife and good mother. There is a saying of great Educator HORACE MANN “A human being is not attaining his full heights until he is educated”.
Many men spend their evening time at clubs and societies. But a gentleman with an education wife will not feel the need of clubs and societies. He can share his thoughts with her and seek her advice in trouble. He can spend his leisure time in here company. Here is saying of Edward Everett “Education is a better safeguard of liberty than a standing Army”. So, think how strong is EDUCATION for people of any country.
There is a great controversy going on in Pakistan whether women should receive higher education or not. Orthodox people are in favour of female education but they are opposed to giving them higher education. But this view does not sound well. If women are mentally fit to receive higher education, there seems to be no reason why they should not be allowed to develop their mental faculties.
Nature has given some responsibilities to all human but one of the most important responsibilities of woman to grow up the children from the very first day, if she has some education, it will help her to grown up nicely, healthy. Because the first nursery of any child is his/her mother’s lap, so what child will get education he will learn that. If mother has education, she will teach good things to her child because every child spends more times with mother. By this a child will be grow in good manners because he impressed with his mother. Every child gets first education from their mothers. There is also a saying of great historian WILL DURANT “Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance.
Thus education will enable women to make their parents, husbands and children truly happy. Consequently it is very important that women should be educated.
